Grant Program for Non-Profits
The Sturbridge Trails Committee has been diligently working for the past several years to make all open space parcels within the town of Sturbridge accessible to the public and residents of Sturbridge. The mission for their project, known as Trek Sturbridge, is to address economic interests, water trails and inter-town linkage and to make beautiful walking trails for everyone to enjoy. The grant money was used to provide signage to mark trails on the Heins Farm Property in order to improve the utilization of the handicap trails.
